USWNT Sues Soccer Federation over Pay Gap

The U.S. women’s national soccer team filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Soccer Federation citing institutionalized gender based discrimination. All 28 members joined in the lawsuit based on the fact they carry the same responsibilities as the men’s national team and deliver superior results but get paid substantially less. At the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden took the season opener, winning by 2.89 seconds over defending series champion Scott Dixon. RT America’s Steve Christakos joins Scottie Nell Hughes to discuss.
