Soccer Net Stuart Scores An Unwelcome Goal

Large aperture anti bird netting rescues are common but we don't often get calls to rescue flying-foxes out of soccer nets.

Poor Master Stuart was happily flying through some suburban trees when he hit and became trapped in the net.

In the end Mr Batzilla had to lower the net so I could catch and hold Stuart whilst Mr Batzilla unwrapped his tightly wrapped wrist.

Any flying-fox by itself through the day is in trouble.
